Report illegal content or a safety concern
Use the Contact page and choose Illegal content or safety concern, or email [email protected]. Reports may be made by users or anyone affected by content on the service.
Include the trip name, account email if known, filename or description, uploader if known, what happened and why it may be illegal or unsafe. Attach a screenshot only when safe and lawful. Do not download, copy or resend suspected child sexual abuse material.
If someone is in immediate danger, call 999. For non-emergency police matters, use 101.
What is prohibited
The service must not be used for child sexual exploitation or abuse, grooming, terrorism, threats, stalking, hate offences, intimate-image abuse, cyberflashing, extreme pornography, sexual exploitation, fraud, unlawful drugs, human trafficking, unlawful immigration offences, encouraging or assisting serious self-harm, malicious activity or other illegal content or conduct.
How we handle reports
We triage reports according to urgency and risk. We may preserve relevant records, restrict access while investigating, inspect reported material, remove content, suspend or close accounts, and report matters to law enforcement, the National Crime Agency, Ofcom or another competent authority where required. We aim to acknowledge urgent safety reports within 24 hours and other complaints within seven days, but complex cases may take longer.
Trips are private and invitation-only, but privacy does not prevent lawful safety review. We do not promise to monitor every upload and we do not use reports to settle ordinary group disagreements unless they involve a breach of these terms.
Complaints and appeals
You may complain about our handling of illegal content, a report, removal, restriction or suspension. Use the same contact route and choose Complaint or appeal. State the decision, why you believe it was wrong and any relevant evidence. A person not responsible for the original decision will review the appeal where practicable. We aim to give a final response within 28 days.
Children
The Girls Trip Guide is for people aged 18 or over. Do not invite children. Any report involving a person under 18 is treated as a priority. Suspected child sexual abuse material must be reported without copying or forwarding it.
Records and review
Storystone Ltd keeps proportionate records of material safety reports, decisions and appeals and reviews its UK Online Safety Act risk assessments at least annually and before significant service changes.
